Jessica Nguyen

My name is Jessica Nguyen and I am a second year student at New York University. I was born and raised in San Diego, California and I am a first generation Asian American. I am majoring in Economics with a minor in Business Studies. My older brother and parents are in the business industry and I hope to one day become a successful businesswoman. Most would characterize me as an intense and passionate person. My perseverance and competitive nature drives me academically though it can cause tunnel vision. I surround myself with great friends and supportive family members in order to have a life outside of academics. I am also a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I strive to overcome my fear of heights by hiking mountains and skydiving. My goal in life is to travel the world and hopefully make some sort of positive impact wherever I go.
